Abstract

Direct current electro motor with a wound stator and a rotor with a number of permanent magnetic poles of alternating polarity. The stator (10) consists of a core (12) which limits the stator pole shoes (14, 16) and a hole (18) in the elevated section (12a) in the centre of the core. The rotor shaft fits into the hole and can rotate relative to the stator. There is a magnetically operated switching circuit which is operated in one conducting state by the rotor poles of one magnetic polarity and in a second conducting state by the rotor poles of the second magnetic polarity. The stator windings are switched to a direct current source when the switch is operated in one direction. The current will flow in the opposite direction when the switch is connected in the second position.
