Abstract

The wind-propelled vehicle has a chassis supported by wheels on which it travels, and equipped with a mast for a sail. The chassis consists of an isosceles triangle-shaped frame, with one supporting wheel (3, 4) at each of the base of the triangle, which forms the forward end of the frame. At the rear, a steering wheel is mounted at the apex of the triangle, and the mast is mounted at the centre of the triangle base, or in line with it. The chassis can consist of tubular detachable members joined by quick-acting couplings. One member forms the triangle base, with trunnions carrying the front wheels, and to it two long side members are fitted, joining each other at the triangle apex to the rear.
