Abstract

The arrangement of a weighing valve (5) on the link suspension of a rail vehicle serves for determining the axle load, especially in two-axle rail vehicles. The link is pivoted on a transverse pin (12) supported on a spring bracket (2) with radial play. A clamp (6), in which the weighing valve (5) with vertical measuring axis is suppported below the transverse pin (12), which valve is braced on the other side against a cross sleeve of the bracket enclosing the transverse pin (12) with play, is pivoted on the transverse pin (12). The clamp (6) is provided with arms projecting horizontally on the side remote from the link, which arms are supported on a continuation (14) of the spring bracket (2) so that they can swivel about a transverse pin (13). The arrangement ensures that the weighing valve always measures the force corresponding precisely to the vehicle weight or the loading of the respective vehicle axle. Owing to the small space required it can be provided on all vehicles without the need to undertake major modifications.
