Abstract

Multi-layer panel with several layers fixed together non-releasably comprises a core layer of pure soda kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin and enriched with Fe powder. On >=1 side of the core layer is a covering layer consisting of cellulosic paper impregnated with melamine resin. The Fe powder may be incorporated in the soda kraft paper, and may be in varying concns in different areas. The covering layer(s) may be perforated, may have different thicknesses, and may surround the core layer on all sides. The panel may be curved completely or partially, or folded over on itself. It may be used as a partition, a placard, a game board, a plank to be cut up, a wall panel, a table top, a seat top, a seat back, etc.
