Abstract

The caravan rear view mirror comprises two individual mirrors mounted facing each other and offset in relation to each other in the vertical direction. The mirrors are mounted on swivel joints (6, 7) to allow angular adjustment to suit the mirror mounted on the towing vehicle. The mirrors may have an adjustable support sliding on a tube fixed to the front corner of the caravan. They can each be connected to a support (3) by a rod removable in the event of a shock, or can be arranged to retract on experiencing one.
