Abstract
The electronic regulator enables the motor speed to be controlled from zero up to a speed close to synchronising speed. The motor torque having values greater than normal. The rotor currents are supported via a mixed diode-thyristor bridge. The rotor currents being rectified in a controlled manner by this bridge and are then fed into a resistance. Each value of current corresponds to a given speed of rotation. A frequency reduction process of the thyristors firing pulses ensures a reduction in their angle of conduction, and thus reduces the rotor current. The result of which is a slowing down of the motor.
