Abstract
The intrusion protection system is designed for use with the locking elements of doors, windows, car boots and doors. The system uses a movable locking element (11) which is associated with each closing fixture (door, window etc). The displacement of this movable element (11) locks or unlocks the closing fixture. The system consists of an electromagnetic bolt (11) which is coupled to each lock (12). This bolt (11) is designed to engage or disengage the lock (12) following the reception of an electrical pulse. Associated with this electromagnetic bolt (11) is an electrical circuit has a supply source (48) and incorporating a switch (20). The switch (20) can be operated by a user so as to generate an electrical pulse which will latch or unlatch the electromagnetic bolt.
