Abstract

A silo section is separated from adjacent sections by single or double walls (21). Each silo section has delivery ports (23) which may be supplied by a pneumatic or mechanical conveying system. The granular or powder product is then discharged onto conveyors which carry the product away from the silo sections. The conveyors overlap by having one end of one conveyor below the opposite end of the next conveyor. The conveyors may lead the product to a further mechanical or pneumatic system.
