Abstract

The vehicle wheel embellishment has external supporting bosses (6) and also internal ones (7) bearing against the wheel (1, 2) to which it is secured by rivets (12) midway between them. The rivets can be integral with the remainder of the embellishment (5) and tubular. Holes (8) can be provided in the embellishment for the wheel studs (4). The rivets can be shortened on assembly, so as to pre-stress the embellishment in place. The design is cheap to produce and easy to fix to the wheel avoiding any noise or vibration after fitting.
