Abstract

The fire protection system can be used to project a liquid, gaseous liquefied or powdery extinguishing agent or a mixture of several, using a propellant gas from a receiver connected to a vessel containing tha agent, and which in turn is connected to a projection nozzle. In addition to the main vessel (1) a second one (2) is provided for an additive to be projected where a mixture is used. The pipe from the gas receiver (3) is divided into branches to each of the vessels, each branch incorporating a stop valve (8, 9). There is a discharge pipe from the second vessel into that from the first one, via a stop valve (15), at a point downstream of the stop valve (14) in it. The two stop valves can be coupled together.
