Abstract

The signal lamp unit is mounted on a panel and comprises an external housing and a lamp holder on opposite sides of the panel which is thus sandwiched between them. The housing (11) and the holder (2) are fixed to each other, the panel (3) being clamped between them an independently of them. The only openings in the panel are those for the bulb and fixing devices, so that the outer panel surface can act as a reflecting surface. A boss (9) in the centre of the lamp holder can act against the panel so as to determine the position of the bulb (4) in relation to it.
