Abstract

The prefabricated three-dimensional structural units which are designed to fit together vertically and horizontally can be of different design for greater variety of furniture but are all made of flat frames (20, 21) of even thickness with box elements (22) and top plates whose length and width correspond to a constant measurement (K) or a multiple thereof. The box or chest element are designed in four different heights and the thickness of the top plates (19, 20) preferably corresponds to the thickness of the chest walls (13, 14, 18) so that they can be mounted side by side without any break. The units are connected together by easily operated snap lock connecting members.
