Abstract

The equipment is for washing and rinsing the exposed portions of the body, particularly the face, arms and forearms, of persons who have been exposed to harmful chemicals during their work. It comprises small sprayers (2, 9) adjustable in direction, pressure and quantity. A selector can be included for spraying pure water, water with additive, or additive only, and the additive can have a neutralising, cleaning or therapeutic effect, or act as a dye. The equipment can be mounted on a normal washbasin in addition to the standard equipment of the latter.
