Abstract

The partition is placed in front of a wall to protect it from the rays of the sun. It can be placed on brackets attached to the wall or it can be placed directly onto the ground in front of the wall. The partition can either keep the wall completely shaded, but make no allowance for ventilation, or expose 25% of the wall to sunlight, but give increased ventilation. The first form is equally effective horizontally or vertically it is economic and can be mass-produced. It can be installed once a building has been completed or during the construction process and can be made of concrete, wood, steel or plastic.
