Abstract

Agents for preventing damage of plants by wild and domestic animals contain cantharidin as active ingredient. The cantharidin content of the compsns. is pref. ca. 0.001 10 wt.%. The agents have greater animal-repellent effect than known agents. Their action is due to both smell and taste, and they are effective even when the smell is undetectable to the human nose.
