Abstract

The cigarette holder designed to protect the smoker from burning ash particularly in windy conditions or when driving a vehicle, or riding etc., consists of a conventional mouthpiece portion with an enlarged end into which the cigarette fits, and with a small peg extending radially outwards near the extreme end, onto which can be locked in bayonet manner a cylindrical collar incorporating suitable interlocking projections, and terminating in an annealed copper mesh of cylindrical shape completely enclosing the cigarette, the mesh size being chosen accordingly.
