Abstract

The rollers (1), of square cross section, driven by a motor and reduction unit are spaced along the length of a horizontal frame. The lower sides (9) of this frame are enclosed and angled towards the base, below which is a belt conveyor (10). Above the roller conveyor is a sheet metal canopy (7) equipped with an extractor hood (8). Sacks of cement (5) loaded onto the rollers are guided along the rollers and shaken, the dust on their outside being removed through the hood. Burst bags (6) spill their contents onto the belt conveyor with the part empty bags following as they fall through the spaces between the rollers.
