Abstract

The supporting frame carries multi-way connection panels and is designed for simplicity of assembly and ease of access to the panels. A basic 'U' shaped support is extruded in polyvinyl-chloride or some similar non-conducting plastic material. The 'U' shape is shallow, the walls having along their length a keyed slot into which are fitted plastic supports either directly or via an adapting insert enabling the support to be set at 90 deg. to the directly mounted form. The walls of the 'U' are so shaped that a press out open box like structure can be sprung onto carry the connection panels.
