Abstract

The process rollers of the self processing camera are driven by a gear train which has at least one movable cog. This is held in mesh with the train by a spring loaded arm to operate as a one way clutch. The drive is connected so long as torque is delivered from the electric motor drive. If the drive cog for the rollers is turned manually, to free obstructions, or if the film pack is pulled out of the roller manually, for special processing, the drive is uncoupled. This prevents damage to the gear train and the electric motor.
