Abstract

The main lights are split, right and left. These are fed by the same relay, in the same circuit as a warning light. The lights can be selectively fed by two relays energised by a direction indicating switch. The return current is by a common lead across a vibrating element, such as a bridge. There is also a warning system with a three pole interruptor, and additional warning lamp. The arrangement thus gives direction indication or double flashing lamp warning, together with indication of lamp failure. Trailer lights can work in unison with those on the tractor.
