Abstract
A sample for analysis in a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer is contained in a tube (E) and submitted to a magnetic field of polarisation produced by an electromagnet (12). The sample is directly coupled by an inductance (13) whose axis is perpendicular to the field. A capacitor (14) creates a parallel tuned circuit forming an arm of a high frequency bridge (15). A second arm comprises a high frequency oscillator (70) with modulator. A synchronous response detector (72) processes the detected signal. Sample decoupling is provided by a parallel tuned circuit (73, 71) whose inductor (73) is perpendicular to the magnetic field. A high frequency oscillator (74) with modulator powers this tuned circuit.
