Abstract

Automatic sequential chemical analysis is carried out in discontinuous flow in apparatus which is able to effect most of the operations of preparation processing and sharing the samples to analyse. An automatic analysis equipment contains a supporting system comprising two horizontal circular plates one (6) above the other (7). The upper plate contains a number of hollows (8, 9, 10) of various sizes and shapes set in identical patterns in sectors. The inner hollow (10) accept simple tubes for collection of products during preparation and sharing. Rectangular areas (9) accept double tubes while other hollows (8) accept single tubes. The support is moved to a programmed sequence as is the transfer of samples, reagents and the products. Agitation is provided by bubbling compressed air in the container tubes.
