Abstract

The mirror (2) can pivot round a vertical axis (5) and a horizontal one (6). The mirror body (1) is fixed. There is a control rod (9) operated from a distance, in a ball joint (10). The direction changing mechanism (7) has a shaft (13) turning on the transverse horizontal shaft (6). One end (14) of this shaft (13) is solid with the control rod (9). The mirror holder has ears (18) (19) at the rear and attachments which permit its adjustment in two planes. The operating rod (27) can turn and slide and has a helicoidal groove (26) engaging a ball at the end of the control rod (9). Push/pull adjusts one mirror plane and turning the other.
