Abstract

A counter top sales carton particularly suitable for holding and displaying sets of emery or glass paper, where frequently the customer wishes to see or handle the contents to decide which grade he wishes to buy, has an open top (26) so that the sets of sheets (10) are readily visible and accessible. Each set is secured at the top by a stapled-on folded sheet (14) carrying reference information, and these reference sheets can be staggered from set to set in the manner of a card index. The bottoms of the sets of sheets may be secured by further staples (17) and may rest in the folds of a corrugated sheet (28) in the bottom of the carton.
