Abstract

Tray arranged against back of seat, pivots between two protruding lugs at the back, e.g. of inclined seat in a motor coach. Pivoting hinge part is plastics, rectangular and has pins for fixing to the tray which has an edge and lug section which pivots around a horizontal spindle arranged at the fixed part of the hinge. The pivotal edge part has two protrusions and a chamfered part coaxial with the horizontal spindle. One protrusion co-acts with an adjustable stop on the fixed part, to secure a final horizontal positions for the tray. The second protrusion has an OMEGA omega shaped recess which serves as an elastic clamp part for a pin fixed to the solid part of the hinge, thus locking the serving tray in position.
