Abstract

The cartridge consists of a container (1) closed at one end by a sliding piston (9) and at the other by a conical piece (2) and an end wall (4). The end wall has a disc (5) which can be removed by cutting along a groove (7) on its periphery. A nozzle is screwed on to this end so that the material can be extruded through it. The wall of the conical section is thinner than the rest of the cartridge, due to the moulding process, which uses the conical section to centre the piston used to form the cartridge in the mould. Other geometric shapes can be used for the same purposes.
