Abstract

A joining piece (6A) of sectional form identical to the tubes to be joined has at its mid point an inward formed ridge. The tubes (7, 8) are entered in the sleeve up to the ridge and jointing compound is added. By the addition of a U shaped bracket (4) the tube assembly can be fitted concentrically inside another tube. By the use of an inverted joining piece (1) a joint in the outer tubes (9, 10) can be incorporated. The material for the joining pieces is the same as for the tubes. The tubes may be concrete, plastic, metal etc, and need not have similar sections.
