Abstract

The switching cct. is connected across the phase and neutral lipes of an electrical network. The cross-line includes a choke coil in series with a triac, a safety fuse and a loading lamp. The control terminal of the triac is connected through a resistor to the switch control terminal, resistor linking it with the fuse. A capacitor is in parallel with the choke and the triac. In a typical case a 50 mA control current will switch a 3 ampere main cct. current.
