Abstract

The posts are fixed to a base plate by screws or bolts. The tops of the posts are attached to the top-rail by pressure screws. Each post contains holes which open out at one side of the posts into holes of larger diameter. The panels, which may be transparent, are placed at regular intervals, generally between two posts and are held in grooved strips. The strips are attached to the posts by means of a threaded bolt and nut, for example, the heads of which are contained in the holes in the posts and the nuts of which are trapped in T-shaped grooves in the strips.
