Abstract

The object of the invention is to provide forced ventilation of an incubator, but at the same time avoiding any turbulence or air disturbance in the vicinity of the eggs, which can affect adversely the hatching of eggs from some species of birds. The incubator consists of a sealed container divided into two parts by a porous partition. One part has an inlet and one or more fans provided with electrical heating elements. These blow warm air through the porous partition, which slows down the air current as it enters the second part which contains the eggs in racks and air outlet.
