Abstract

The coil is mounted on a chimney using a support fitting around the chimney. Staggered metal bands cross each other to form the openings trough which the gases exit. In the area where the bands cross each other they are flat and in contact with each other. Preferably two bands cross at 90 deg. and envelope a vertical tube, the lower free ends of the bands being attached to the outside of the tube. The tube is telescoped over a chimney and has spring mounting clips secured by a circular band. The top of the tube is slotted to allow exit of smoke.
