Abstract

Therapeutic compsns. comprising as active component polyvinylpolyprrolidone (I) optionally together with coccidiostats, sulphonamides, antiseptics, antibiotics, adsorbents and vitamines are useful in veterinary treatment of gastrointestinal, inflammatory and gynaecological conditions, internally or externally; (I) are insoluble in acids and alkalis, non-allergic and non-toxic, and adsorb toxins in their three-dimensional network allowing tissues to regenerate.
