Abstract

Mould for ceramic castings esp. lavatory basins in two parts whereby the two mouldings are prepared in one frame with pivots so that the upper part of the mould for the basin and the lower part of the mould for the basin and the lower part of the mould for the run can be swing away and the two parts adhered together with slip. Process avoids the man-handling of heavy moulds and the fragile unfired rim.
