Abstract
The platform is supported by two pivoted arms at the sides, which allow the platform to swing backwards and forwards. The arms are supported by horizontal limbs extending from a circular arbour, which is supported by a roller bearing at its lowest point. The arbour is supported by a single column, the axis of which is in line with the centre of gravity of the camera supported by the platform.
