Abstract
Title compsns. are made by adding 0.5-5, pref. 1-4 pts. emulsifier, pref. alkarylpolyethylene glycol ether, esp. octyphynylpolyethylene glycol ether, to 1 pt. of a hydro-carbon, pref. aromatic, esp. xylene soln., contg. 1-30, pref. 5-10 g/l 2,5-diphenyl oxazole and 0.2-10, pref. 0.5-5 g/l 1,4-di-(2-methylstyryl)-benzene. Compsn. is used for direct measurement by mixing with 0-100, pref. 10-50 vol.% of aq. sample which may be e.g. blood, uring, chromatographic eluate, salt soln., or process effluent.
