Abstract
In a recombining unit for the catalytic combustion of radiolysed gases, partic. H2 and O2, in gas-steam mixts., with an inlet pipe laterally or centrally arranged w.r.t. the bulk catalyst, means are provided in the free space above the bulk catalyst for guiding the flow in such a way that the flow through the catalyst is uniform and vertically downwards.
