Abstract
Heat accumulator esp. for electrical heating contains (I), basalt, serpentine or a basalt-topaz mixt. as accumulator material, and (II) a mixt. of sodium water glass (A) and iron-silicon (B) as binder. The basalt is bonded with (wt %) 5-8 A and 1-3 B, the serpentine with 3-6 A and 1-3 B and the basalt-topaz with 4-7 A and 1-3 B 4 vol. pts. basalt are mixed with 5 vol. pts. topaz. High specific heat capacity per unit volume is obtd.
