Abstract

In a battery of air-depolarised cells installed in the same casing and each comprising a positive electrode an electrolyte, pref. in gel form, and a negative electrode arranged in three parallel layers, with an expansion space in each cell and the cells themselves stacked in parallel to these layers, spaces are provided between the positive electrode of one cell and the opposite face fo the adjacent cell or of the casing, and are connected to the outside thereof by air feed means, more esp. apertures in the casing.
