Abstract

Parent patent covered a mechanical handling device for turning over cheeses in their moulds as part of the mfg. process. The mould end plates are held in position as the turnover operation takes place and it was then necess. to remove the top plate to permit removal of the mould from the turnover device. A pivot-mounted bracket is now used to supported the mould top plate in situ in the mould top device while the turned mould is removed and a new one inserted to use the retained plate.
