Abstract
Waste from the cellulose mfg. process is sprayed to the bottom of a boiler and the combustion gases pass through a chimney to heat a low temp. super heater (I) of a vaporizing circuit. (I) is arranged in a separate chamber heated by auxiliary burners, and the combustion gases from the auxiliary burners pass to the chimney via a grill. (I) is not subjected to the corrosive effective of the combustion products in the chimney, giving a longer operating life and allowing the use of cheaper piping.
