Abstract

Morocco-leather goods, sadlery, travel articles made form leather skin or plastic-based artificial leather are decorated by applying an artificial patina on the finished article. The raw material can be in its natural colour; leathers and skins can be dyed while artificial leathers are generally coloured all through. In either case the dye or patina is uniform over the whole surface. Specif. the artificial patina is applied by starting at the edges and shading it towards the centre portion of the finished article.
