Abstract

The housing consists of two closed parallel frames to which the press traverses are applied by means of cylindrical projections which engage in corresponding cavities on the inside surface of the transverse elements of the frames. The cavities are disposed close to the longitudinal elements of the frame. The traverses are thus supported at four points situated in a rectangle. The press is of lighter construction than similar presses of conventional construction and has a more precise operation.
