Abstract

Device has a hollow valve body contg. a spring biased normally-closed over pressure venting valve, attached to a vent pipe from vessel. A filter body is attached to the valve body, and contains a cartridge separating the valve body from an annular chamber about the cartridge. The cartridge contains dessicant, and the filter body has walls formed by a transparent tube and a base with an under-pressure venting valve, also normally closed. Device may be used for storage vessels for lubricants, vegetable oils, petroleum products, etc.
