Abstract

The bar leaving the die passes through a series of rings supplied with cooling fluid sprays which are adjustable. Specif. between the cooling rings, air nozzles are provided. The cooling rings may have conical spray fittings and cylindrical slide fittings, the latter acting as guides for the profiled bar.
