Abstract

Sugar cane juice extractor comprises perpendicular vessel which under gravity force forms a passage for the disintegrated, juice-contg. matter and has guides for diluent through the vessel at several levels, consisting of injection inlets and outlets below them which for at least one stage are at the same side of the vessel, so that the diluent is led downwards through the matter.
