Abstract
Multi layered projectile core has at least one outer casing (1) of hard metal made by pressure or classical sintering. Also there is a uranium nucleus (3) bound by pressure sintering. This has the advantage of reducing the expense of grinding the end product as well as guaranteeing a uniformly thick distribution.
