Abstract
The present invention is a process for ammonia gas separation from gas mixtures by a solid copper (I)-containing adsorbent. The process enables an effective and selective separation of ammonia gas from gas mixtures. Additionally it enables the efficient release of adsorbed ammonia by regeneration as well as the ammonia recovery as a pure gas for reuse. The present invention also comprises the adsorbent composition for use in selective adsorption of ammonia and the manufacturing of the adsorbent.
