Claims (5)

1. Förfarande för att rena metallhaltiga lösningar, särskilt processvatten innehäl-lande metaller som kvicksilver, kadmium och/eller bly, där ifrägavarande metaller 30 förekommer i vattenlöslig form, säsom ett kloridkomplex, där nämnda lösning brin-gas att passera genom en jonbytarmassa (4) huvudsakligen bestaende av sulfhydre-rad cellulosa, varvid nämnda metaller adsorberas i den sulfhydrerade cellulosan, kännetecknat av att nämnda jonbytarmassa (4) efter att en förutbestämd mängd av metall adsorberats bringas att regenereras, varvid en vattenlösning innefattande 35 saltsyra (HC1) med en koncentration av ätminstone omkring 1 molar HC1 bringas att il Iti I liiti 1:1 i Hl 9 97720 genomspola jonbytarmassan, och av, att ifrägavarande metall pä i och för sig känt sätt falls ut som sulfid ur den vätska som vid genomspolningen elueras ur jonbytarmassan (4). 5
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att för avskiljning av kvick- silver (Hg) bringas det förorenade vattnet, som tillföres jonbytarmassan att ha ett pH-värde högre än omkring 1, företrädesvis omkring 2.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att för avskiljning av bl a en 10 eller flera av metalleina zink (Zn), kadmium (Cd), bly (Pb), koppar (Cu) och kvick- silver (Hg) bringas det förorenade vattnet, som tillföres jonbytarmassan att ha ett pH-värde omkring eller nägot högre än 3.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, 2 eller 3, kännetecknat av att nämnda vatten-15 lösning för regenereringen ges en koncentration av ätminstone 2 molar HC1.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, 2 eller 3, kännetecknat av att nämnda vatten-lösning för regenereringen ges en koncentration av ätminstone 1 molar HC1 och en koncentration av omkring 2 molar koksalt (NaCl).
