Abstract

Shown and described is a door installation, namely a door interphone, having a housing (not shown), a rectangular retaining frame (1), a plurality of square functional units (2, 3, 4) and - not shown - sealing and facing means, the retaining frame (1) being provided in or on the housing and preferably being connected to the housing such that it can be fixed and can pivot, and holding the functional units (2, 3, 4), and the functional units (2, 3, 4) having a functional element or a plurality of functional elements, for example a loudspeaker, a microphone, at least one nameplate and/or at least one bellpush. The door installation according to the invention is more flexible with respect to the modular type of assembly of the functional units (2, 3, 4) than the door installation on which the invention is based, to be precise in that the retaining frame (1) internally has latching rails (5, 6) which are used for fixing the functional units (2, 3, 4), and the functional units (2, 3, 4) are provided with latching elements (7) which are assigned to the latching rails (5, 6) of the retaining frame (1) and, in the installed state, engage behind the latching rails (5, 6) of the retaining frame (1). <IMAGE>
