Abstract

Frontal element for furniture, such as a door, comprising an outer and inner frame, into which may be fitted an interchangeable panel (32, 73, 74, 76). The struts which form the frame (14, 18, 24, 28) are fully mitred and, fundamentally, held together simply by the securing elements which connect, without the help of screws, the outer struts of the frame (14, 18). In order to achieve a pleasing appearance, the grooves in the outer and inner frame (62, 64, 70, 72) which take the inner frame or panel (32, 73, 74, 76) are disposed in planes at a distance from each other.
